St Leonards Road, Norwich, Norfolk, NR1 4BL 01603618734

There is a reward waiting for you at the top of St Leonards Road in Thorpe Hamlet. The Jubilee is a small but perfectly formed good looking public house built in 1887 & was originally a Bullards House. It was named in honour of Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee, with a fascinating plaque above the door naming the countries in her Empire.Situated close to Norwich Train Station,Norwich City Football Ground & the city centre. The Jubilee pub has a very traditional feel to it & also a great atmosphere offering a front bar with tables to sit around with friends & chat or even to have a quiet drink on your own with a selection of daily papers & magazines to browse through. This bar also boasts a big screen that comes down on big match games & causes a lively atmosphere !. The front bar leads through to a longer bar with a relaxing conservatory where there are games on offer such as Scrabble & Chess etc.Out of the conservatory is the well kept “talked about” garden which is a real sun trap in the summer & also a comfortable retreat for smokers’even in the wet weather with a covered seating area.Back inside the bar, stairs lead to the pool room where there are 2 pool tables. The Jubilee is definately worth a visit !
